Chapter 13

A guy learns that a vampire is his friend when he turns him into a vampire's food/bond/person. The complexities of the vampire world unfold when the friend's estranged vampire father brings them into the family business. Chapter --

The couple is fine/whatever...I actually like their dynamics more as friends. They are much funnier like that. Another observation: aside from the gay romance part, the two main characters and two side characters (all of which are friends/in the same friend group) read to me like a realistic picture of (chill) guy group dynamics! Honestly, it’s probably the first time where I’ve seen a group of guy friends in yaoi and thought “this is how a group of guys acts around each other in real life.” I’m not a guy, so I can’t say through experience whether that’s true or not, but that’s what it felt like to me.

Has some potential. Uke is kind of lame, but also has some interesting qualities. Seme is lame in a different way and definitely super likes the uke. Update: definitely now goes in the classic yaoi dynamic of ‘seme is a dick to the uke to his face, but “wuvs” him in reality and brags about uke to others’ and ‘uke claims to hate/have no interest in seme but clearly wants to be with him to the point of desperation.’ Saving grace: the action is hot.

I liked the setup and dynamics between them, but I didn’t like the vibe I got during the sex scene. I feel like it’s revealing of the power dynamic between them.

Model Illiyan is an exclusive contractor for a man named James Taylor -- a photographer and married man who happens to be swirling around with strange rumors about his contracted model and himself. The brunt of this gossip is taken on by Illiyan, who has to bear the shame of being "a homewrecker" or a "succubus" in some ways, and he meets another man at Taylor's wedding anniversary -- whose name is Kyle Hackman. Kyle Hackman was, along with Illiyan, invited to Taylor's party by Taylor's wife -- who hates Illiyan and likes Hackman. Although Illiyan has been rumored to sleep with men, he is straight, but finds something interesting in Hackman, which leads to...at first sex, then romance. This is me trying to explain what is happening at midnight, but anyways, read it. At least (the very least) the sex is hot. ~Chapter 24

A boy and an exorcist go on adventures and find themselves. The boy doesn't know what's going on with him, but keeps on having recurring dreams in the middle of the story. ~Chapter 5

Two friends who have been a battery pair (batter/pitcher) suddenly start to change as baseball season ends. Will Ritsu and Shima make it? ~ Chapter 7.5

Sad hot guy with a killer reputation at the bar wants to drown away his sorrows when he finds out his best friend (and long-time crush) is getting married. He goes to the bar wanting to get laid, and finds a hot guy, who chases out a guy who wanted to sleep with the main character. He ends up sleeping with him (he honestly doesn't care what the guy looks like) but little does he know that in a month he'll end up running into him, right at his best friend's wedding...
