An alpha and a beta hit it off... Chapter 41
Cheese In The Trap Manhwa
I liked the ending. I liked that the main character realized that there was hypocrisy going on, that she was living in a fantasy to some degree. It was interesting that she decided to keep dating him. I'm glad she did it with her eyes open -- and I liked the endings for all the other characters. I remember when I read this before (and stopped, as it was continuously being uploaded/translated) that I just kept feeling that she was living in a false reality and she was trying not to see it. This way it's realistic but it's also a conscious choice to act by the main character (and the rest of the cast of characters). - ch ep(ilogue)
Ashita No Ousama
Chapter 5 -- I'm not super sure why she freaks out in chapter five -- a rival of a director is a rival director, and I'm not too sure what she took offense to, other than her perception that she is not cut out to be anything else and has to be relegated somewhere else. Perhaps she thought it was a joke that a person with so much experience would even consider her a rival -- but at that point, I'm not sure why she didn't think, "oh, I can become a director/stage manager/playwright," which is what I would have immediately thought at his comment. This a fantastic manga. I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone. The girl is steadfast and (surprisingly!) doesn't change how she is/how she looks in reaction to the perceptions of others of herself. The main male lead (or love interest) sees her as valuable without her having to present as something that isn't truly herself but satisfies society. It's phenomenal. This comment was made during a reread, probably for the sixth, seventh, or eighth time. I don't think I realized how petty their relationship is romantically (before they get together) until I read it this time. Man, specifically Touya is so petty!!! She's also kind of lame, daydreaming but not actually making anything happen on her end. Also, poor Prince of Kabuki. He is so sad. *cries one tear of sadness* I feel like she did him dirty in that one chapter -- I think she crossed the line, because even if it did make him grow, it wasn't okay ethically. She breached his trust.
My Way With You
Two people fall for each other unexpectedly...or was it unexpected? This was a very cute manga with heavy themes circling in the background. The MCs both have tragic pasts with loss and find each other at a vulnerable period within each others' lives. As the story continues you see them connecting with each other and noticing how their past seems to continuously intertwine, like two magnets drawn to each other. One of the MCs goes out of his way to find the other, and it's the start of their beautiful love story. ~ Chapter side.end
Salt Friend
Cute! This is the story of Tommy (Tong Yang) and Zachary (A-Zhen) and their love story. Update: Chapter 222 - aw, they kind of BOTH like each other :) ~ Chapter 222 Note: as stated by one of the commenters, ch 173 (unofficial translation) is ch 75 (official translation)
