The couple was meh, but I really liked the way the author handled the relationship between Mikuni and his friend from high school. I liked how they talked about it and both acknowledged what had happened while still moving on.

Could have been better if they had explored more of the sadness that the situation caused both characters. Hayakawa in particular felt flat at the end of the manga, as he kept smiling without expressing his pain caused by the past. To me, it felt robotic.
