Yes yes yes... literally so funny. I'm dying here. Choi Jang Gun is the new owner of a butcher's shop in a shady part of town...only to get accosted by the single patron of his shop, who constantly buys all the meat in his shop. *wink wink wink* What are his intentions? What does he mean by buying all the meat from his shop? ~Chapter 5

Ha ha ha literally so funny. And YES, thank you thank you thank you for having a NORMAL reaction to that kind of proposition, not the stereotypically delve into a type of cheap porno *bleh bleh bleh*. Ha ha his reaction has been THE BEST, and I am here for it. Poor insecure weirdo stalker dude (who I somehow don't hate) and his crush is only enticed by the crush's one true wuv, the young man's uncle. What a crazy start to a story. ~Chapter 19

They had chemistry, but then chapter 5.5 appeared...and I feel grossed out at the sexual harassment. Ryouto and Kousuke (Number two and number one respectively in their college's list of good-looking men) spend a night together after the latter strains his hand on a ski trip provided by his school. Both men end up in sexy times on the massage chair within their ski resort (much to the delight and the chagrin respectively of Kousuke and Ryouto). They end up having an ambiguous relationship, where Ryouto is reading the signals correctly (for once in a yaoi, the person isn't completely oblivious to the other person's attentions). Kousuke has plans to go skiing professionally in Canada. Will skiing break these lovers apart or allow them to stay together? ~Chapter 11.1

Mc is pretending to be hawwwt...only to be a pure boy phony with a lot of secrets. Namely, that he loves shoujo manga and is not 'cold' at all. There's a new transfer student who's super hot, and he discovers that it's his only friend from middle school, back when he was called gay because of his love for shoujo manga (except for his friend). Now his friend has come to "haunt" him and bring up his past (although the friend doesn't want to 'out' him), and he keeps tripping up, only to find that his only best friend keeps catching him (and putting him in swoonworthy positions, in accordance to his shoujo manga preferences). Will he end up keeping his secrets from the school? Or will he fall for his friend and embrace his true shoujo self? Fetishizing people as items on a checklist...run, run, run, man. Edit: Well played, Hiroko, well played (even though you cray). ~Chapter 2

Serious Joke

Ongoing | Dobeot | 2019 released

By the author of Three Men, One Chinchilla, which makes sense. It has the same vibe in a strange way. New kid in high school has some strange things going on -- he doesn't like to leave with anyone, doesn't want to go home with anyone, doesn't want to hang out with anyone after class -- but all aside from that, he's pretty normal. The main character wants to figure this person out, after they have a meet-cute moment with a calico cat (where their initial interaction is great, but then sours for some odd, unknown reason) before they meet at school. The slightly shady new kid thinks that the other kid is super weird, but doesn't hate him. The other kid (the mc) doesn't have any social oddities, other than the fact that he has a bit of a loose filter (and says all the things in his mind (to some degree)). He wants to get to know the shady new kid, and their vibes are fantastic even though it's only chapter 2... ~Chapter 2

Main character is great, but why is everyone a psychopath at this school? Really so confused, but I'm loving the fact that the main character is extremely empathic as well as tough. Edit: I'm not sure why she keeps lying to her billion-won friend, even though things could get serious and she'll need her friends now more than ever. Shiru, hottie of the year, makes a bet with her childhood friends that she could pass for a guy throughout high school. For a billion won, because one of her childhood friends is as rich as Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg put together. She and her billion-won betting childhood friend transfer to her other childhood friend's school, but there are some people out to get her -- how will things end up? Edit: Chapter 60- Everyone finds out her secret. ~Chapter 68 (last chapter)

Jiwoo is an ordinary (or not quite so ordinary) teen living in Korea. He has the ability to travel quickly (using a type of speed power) when he wants to (for very brief periods of time), but has been taught that his powers are something to be hidden from the rest of the world. He soon learns the existence of other beings who have powers like he does, those that are called the Awakened and have many strains of power. When he learns about the Awakened society, he ends up training with a super-user called Kaiden/Kayden who is currently in cat form. He used his powers at the beginning to hide from his enemies, and started living as a cat while concentrating his powers at Jiwoo's house. It's truly a good laugh for when needed, as well as very exciting, what with the types of powers and fights all of them keep having. In some ways, it reminds me of Girl of the Wild's, but with less sexism (a comic I read about half-way or less before giving up). ~ p.52 of Chapter 56

LULLU LALLA BLUES

Complete | Moon,Dean | 2000 released

Basically, two guys get drunk at a party with a bunch of other guys, only for the seme (Kye-sung) to wake up and find out that he slept with the uke (Min-Shik), the brother of the guy whose house they hosted the party. The seme doesn't know what to do, and the uke tells him (after they wake up the next day) to "jump out a window." Seme tries to deal with it in his head and to his friends, only to tell them what happened over drinks. Now everybody knows what happened between the two of them; will they both resolve the matter, or will they let the issue fade into obscurity? This story has a surprisingly nuanced take on certain matters, including what it means to be gay; figuring out what it takes to be truly selfless about an issue involving you; and how sometimes prejudice/discomfort about certain topics works, and how they are sometimes two different things. HOWEVER, I don't like the lie in which all of this came about; the character goes so far as to imply that another character forced him and created an elaborate ruse for something so serious, which I don't approve of. ~Chapter 20
