Actually, one of the more interesting manga of this tone (by which I mean, comedic and lighter than what’s currently in vogue (read: killing stalking, warehouse, etc.)). There are certain elements that read as somewhat stereotypical, but this manga has the huge saving grace of an author who avoided certain things yaoi pitfalls that tend to happen with yaois of this particular vibe. The comic dynamic between this couple allows the uke (who generally loses in the power dynamic when there is a discrepancy of power in the relationship) in this story to have opinions and not be defined by the romance or romantic lead. This also allows for a silly aspect to be present in the seme’s personality when there probably wouldn’t be one in a stereotypical manga that fits this genre. Another thing that I really liked was that the drama that occurred in the third chapter didn’t spiral out of control, as is usual in this type of manga. I kind of imagined what would happen if the author wanted to prolong the melodrama simply for the sake of it, and my guess would be that the debt collectors would see the uke after he ran out, try to force him into an AV, then the seme would save the uke at the last seconds, finally declaring his love and sweeping away all misunderstandings. All of which I would have hated. Instead, the seme communicated with the uke five seconds after the misunderstanding had occurred (yay!).

Same vibe as 19 days, with less emotional depth.

Kuroi-kun (yakuza extraordinaire) and his best on-and-off-again professed lover/friend Shirakaba (straight-rules lawyer) are running in circles around each other with Kuroi closing his ears as Shirakaba continues to confess his love to his gokudo crush (for more than 20 years). Kuroi also loves Shirakaba but doesn't want him to get involved with the yakuza, but Shirakaba does so anyway by becoming the family's lawyer (which Kuroi tries to protest by the silent treatment). Will this 30-year old love between these 37-year-olds finally be requited? ~Vol. 2, Chapter 1 (Chapter 6)

Yesss their relationship is a mood!!! Plus, the fact that cute things weren’t seen as abnormal and weak was awesome. Summary: Two brothers (one short -- in high school -- and one tall -- in elementary school) bond over discovery of the other person. ~Chapter 25

So funny! Mr. Villain has such personality (and very relatable problems). ~Chapter 56

Not the worst, but certainly not the best...from what I remember from reading it, this manga has awkward (and skeevy) dynamics, with the seme forcing himself on the uke (in terms of their meetings/interactions, thankfully -- at least I don't remember reading -- not sex, though both are crossing the line, in different degrees, the latter being much worse than the former). Or at least using his power (as a president) and abusing it in a malicious manner.

Chapter 68

On chapter 14. She has the completely correct reaction (as far as I’ve read). He, on the other hand, is super problematic. He is literally being so creepy and crossing so many lines!!!! He’s not sexually harassing her, but he is harassing her with unwanted attention and a complete abuse of his position as her boss. On top of all that, he fell in insta-love with her.

Angel and a human that can see ghosts are bound for each other in this slow-going romance between two different beings. The angel knows more than he's letting on, and the human has some issues he needs to work through in order to be there for each other. Chap 24 -- introduction of a rival (who I suspect is the angel that keeps taking other souls from ghosts) Update 8.20: Literally go away Dojin. Please stop being all kinds of creepy. ~Chapter 29
