Two high schoolers with different lives and complexes end up in each others lives because of circumstances. Summary: Nonami is a high schoolers with no visible scars; he comes to school, is the top student, but has a job unbeknownst to his guardians. One day he is blackmailed into tutoring another student by a teacher (the school doesn't officially know he has a job); the student's name is Higa, and he barely comes to school. Upset by this decision, Nonami thinks this relationship is a waste of time; however, Higa turns out to be different than he thought, and willing to be taught by Nonami. There is something more between them than tutor and mentee; they start an ambiguous physical relationship, which quickly becomes a romantic bond. Soon, Nonami's circumstances come to light, and Higa's past catches up with him; will they end up together? ~Chapter 7.5

Sorekara, Kimi wo Kangaeru
For this particular manga, I particularly felt that the first story had so much emotional depth. There was so much subtlety and beauty underneath their lighthearted relationship, and the end of the story felt heart wrenching, without the soap-opera style theatrics. The situation was realistic and bittersweet. I felt the other stories were just generic — that first one, though, really got to me.

Two blog writers for video games/anime end up meeting each other, only for one to realize that the other (who writes about cute, sweet things) is a gentle giant (male). The giant falls for the other gamer/writer, who ends up in a relationship with him despite being straight and perpetually single. Very cute and sweet. ~Chapter 5.5
