I'll just start by saying that I love the ml and the minister (for the live characters, the emperor's older brother for those who'd passed), and nearly no one else. I like the empress and want to see the two happy together, but it's really not that fun when the fl ignores very obvious clues and keeps things to themselves when they could easily ask for help in a crisis.
The story started out so well, but I have so many questions. Why the hell were boytoy and his girl in very modern-looking suits? how the hell did they even manage to get random tech from somewhere and figure out how to use them when they would have had no idea what they were. it was in his time so it couldn't have been that long (maybe? that whole part is honestly unclear and deserved more explanation than it got.)
His whole reason for hating the emperor is stupid, but I'll let it slide. same for Ryu-Ban. Most villains don't have actual good reasons to be villains, so I don't care about that, but I hate how smoothly everything is going for him. I hope Ryu-Ban is smarter than to fall for this snake.
the part about her wanting to go home, I didn't mind either because it would be unrealistic otherwise, but she keeps trying to escape with no plan. does she think she'll wind up in the forest and magically wake up in her apartment or something? or there'll be a door she can walk through to her home? wouldn't it have been smarter to ask for some guards to take her around walking and if she did find something, she could have tried to escape. I do get it, I'd def want to go back to my comfortable life too, but she literally had no plan, and I would make sure of my safety first because I want to live. even better, she got such a high position of power without working for it, she didn't get grabbed as a slave or be forced to survive by herself. she could have played it a little smarter if she was going to use that position anyway.
the thing with the maid was just badly done. she did a crime. in the modern world, when people steal, they get jail time; they do not get thrown out of their country. they could have done something like retrieved the money, have her apologize to the people she harmed, something other than walking away unscathed. imprison her even - do they not have prisons in this world? also, why not tell the emperor boytoy was sus so he could at least have people watch over him while they go for their romantic moments so everyone can relax, like...
I also don't like that maiden's attitude.
