Lie or Truth
taiyou attempts to befriend a gloomy first year who has secretly been in love with him since childhood. this kinda sucked!! i like the ml's character design but the story was not it-- i am all for yandere & first love rep but taiyou was pestered constantly by a guy who wouldnt take a 'no' in the first place, ml's hot and cold attitude was not it and the relationship at the end felt v one-sided.
100% Love Gauge/Love Gauge 100%
finished manga entry no.--- yihan meets ha, who looks exactly like his favorite videogame character, and who he later finds out is an otaku like him. this was so cute???? for a second i thought that ha had bad ulterior motives but the twist became clearer as the story progressed, and boy was the reveal hilarious. as far as short manhwas go, this was one of the best ive read.
Terano-kun to Kumazaki-kun
the daily lives of popular class president terano and his cute delinquent boyfriend, kumazaki. sigh, wish they were portrayed as adults but the story itself was just adorable, i love terano and kumazakis dynamic, and the side characters were really funny. its a light read, with a pretty art style and many amusing scenes. definitely yorikos best work so far.
Hetakuso Love Step
kotarou pretends to be the boyfriend for his childhood friend in order to shoo off a persistent aoi, but ends up catching feelings for the latter. i really like yoriko's works so i was pretty excited for this, considering its one of her most popular works, but i think that in the end, this is just average. aoi was getting on my nerves for half of the book, though i did think he was cute in the end and overall the manga was light and and predictable read.
Itadakimasu, wa Koi no Aji
mizuno cooks lunches for his classmate hashimoto after conplaining about his awful diet short, simple and so cute
After their Break-up
feel like the storytelling was a bit shaky due to the brevity of the oneshot but this was cute and ended well.
Kanshaku Dama no Love Song
feel like while it was a bit on the blander side, but i liked takeos character being as realistic as it was, wakou was human in his own right but these two were just the biggest bickering old couple, geez. understood both perspectives and felt like it needed more.
Mihanada Pectolite
this was so fluffy, one of the better schoolmate bls ive read in a while. had intriguing characters and explored their complexities well despite the (tragically) short run time. wish we got to see more of the twin sisters and & kawase/kuriharas time as a couple.
Kuroi Inu
it really ramped up the creep factor in the last few chapters, and while i feel like stuff went on i feel like this rang a bit hollow in the narrative aspect.
Let Me Hear You Say I'm Cute!
