jung seokchan one of my og favorite authors so of course this work is a banger... the baby is adorable and i just want to see them (including the little boy) become a family! love the character dynamics presented: hardheaded but loving father x conceited but caring asshole, i am so excited to see how the plot develops.

Let Me Hear You Say I'm Cute!

Ongoing | Amatsuki teno | 2022 released

got his panties in a twist over one guy not calling him cute... kyouka out here playing 4d chess w kira: say hes not cute, get him to chase you, bully him, get laid. stupid plotline so far and funny in a satirical way

Living Will

Complete | mina (미나),ziho | 2019 released

janet is a hired killer who learns what love is after she meets the lonely jeanne. the two want a happy life together, but fate has other ideas. i loved this, wish it were a full length manhwa. the ending was bittersweet (aka depressing asf), but i enjoyed the art immensely and the plot for what was presented.

Bakemono no Hanayome

Complete | Teo akihisa | 2019 released

fox and wolf hybrids hinata and kyouya get married to establish peace between their tribes, and fall in love despite the stigma associated with being 'freaks' this was an interesting read that went beyond the romance plotline, i liked the addressing of racism and general discrimination towards those who are different. kyuouyas mindset was heartbreaking and im glad they ended up together after coming to terms with their differences.

Lion and Venus

Ongoing | Yura | 2019 released

omega viligante shishio falls in love with the yakuza heir masami. thinking abt this got me kinda pissed, but everything was right there: sick character designs, interesting relationship dynamic and a lot of potential for something gritty and cool, but this story was just a confusing jumble of occurrences w useless side characters that end with a brother reveal (and then a NOT brother reveal at the end, wtf??).

Family, Now and Forever

Ongoing | Hakase | 2019 released

a look into the life of naguru and herapi, how they met and how their child towa changed their lives. love the art, and love the character dynamics, but ngl i thought that naguru and herapis relationship felt a bit one-sided, wish we got more insight into nagurus emotional development to the point where we believe he actually liked herapi himself, but alas, the vagueness of it all actively tampered with my understandings of the situation. towa really saved this manga, love him to bits.

Maya's Funeral Procession

Complete | Ichijo Yukari | 1970 released

after meeting maya at the family vacation home, reina's life starts to fall apart as the past to her family's fortune is revealed. super melodramatic and cinematic, from a storytelling perspective i think the ending was fitting but on a personal level saddening. i think this was a very interesting read but the reveal to them actually being siblings (expected given the setup, but an odd choice nonetheless) really put a damper on it.

Girls Only.

Complete | otosaki tsubaki | 2001 released

anthology pertaining to female sexuality pretty unique and entertaining, the first story was my favorite. loved the red ink color choice.

Glasses Cloth and Playlist

bada and seomin are rivals and coworkers that start a relationship after a one night stand in the breakroom. really liked this, thought it was very funny and cute (especially regarding the breakroom sign and the ex boyfriend)

100% Love Gauge/Love Gauge 100%

Complete | Yeoro, Sagold | 2000 released

finished manga entry no.--- yihan meets ha, who looks exactly like his favorite videogame character, and who he later finds out is an otaku like him. this was so cute???? for a second i thought that ha had bad ulterior motives but the twist became clearer as the story progressed, and boy was the reveal hilarious. as far as short manhwas go, this was one of the best ive read.
