When The Yakuza Falls Inlove
minjun goes to live with a yakuza and his kid toma after the child keeps calling him, 'mom.' toma was SO CUTE, his interactions with the mc & kentas character were keeping the story together. I feel like the mc and ml chemistry was a so minimal, to the point where you can barely tell if ml likes mc , the story was dragging towards the end but I enjoyed a good chunk of it
Raising a child and falling in love
jun helps his crush jihwan take care of the latter's nephew, yul. one of the most down to earth, refreshing bl with kids work ive ever read. definitely a feel good read for me, i loved the plot direction and maturity of some of the topics presented even if the art wasnt the most outstanding. yul is one of the cutest babies ever i love him.
A Guy Like You
siwon has recurring dreams about classmate jinha, leading the two to become closer and find the root of the dreams this was one of my first bl manhwas so it does hold a special place in my heart, but i can say lovingly that this story was so messy and nonsensical at times, the characters were often annoying and dumb and it went on for longer than it needed to. loved to see the art improvement, though.
My Darling Signed In
jaehyun catfishes men online in his favorite rpg game, and ends up falling into the hands of eunsung, his latest victim by posing as eunsungs boyfriend. great character designs and plot, love the video game rpg aspect. it does go on for a bit longer than strictly necessary but overall its a light read with interesting game features to the plot.
Heesu in Class 2
heesu gives out love advice while simultaneously struggling with his unrequited love towards his best friend. he becomes close with his neighbor seungwon, in order to 'help' him with his own crush.
Muri Marriage
momoki and chikage enter an arranged marriage to fulfill their villages' tradition, end up living together despite their antagonism and fall in love interesting premise with great character design and art, i liked the effort to develop the relationship but i do feel like this couldve been better paced with a few more chapters. the coworker was so cute though i wanted to see more of him.
The Third Ending
after rejecting jun twice, yoonseul realizes his feelings for the other and chases him in hopes of a third chance. lawd this was just a shit ton of sugar to my already weak heart, loved the second (third) chance trope and the groveling. i really enjoyed yoonseuls character cause he embodies one of my favorite archetypes: obnoxiously arrogant but genuinely a good person. jun was just so cute and loveable, i had a lot of fun reading this. aside from all that, i feel like the conflict in s2 was a bit unnecessary but okay nonetheless.
Run Away, Assistant Manager Ha!
juwon has a one night stand with aiden, the model who signs to his company and whom he later has a sweet romance with. this was a cute fluffy read but there was nothing new or particularly interesting about it, i feel like ive read this story 5 times elsewhere already. also side note but the size diff in some panels had me thinking i was reading the titans bride...
Shima-chan Chi no Tsugai Jijou
a look into the daily lives of shima's family, and how her fathers (former delinquents) aoi and akane got together. this was fucking adorable and the art was amazing, loved shima, the slice of life bits and the rivals to lovers trope. the only qualm I really have is how the two guys who sexually harassed aoi (the one from high school and the one from college) got off, basically scott free with no serious repercussion like you shoulda just let akane beat the shit outta them.
