an elevator operator, who has a track record of attracting anyone that enters, meets a girl that barely gives her a glance. it was funny, cute and the art was good, but i am giving a major side eye to the height difference, lolita clothing and the fact that she was shopping at a toy store of all places...

love for yui is like a soaked umbrella after a rain storm damn this was good; not only because this is the best art ive seen for a yuri manga thus far, but it was also a contemplative and intriguing read.

minju meets jaeho in highschool and the two fall in love, but little did minju know, that prejudice from the world would lead to jaehos demise. i can see the poetic lens the author used here, and while i can say the prose was mesmerizing, i cant say i understood it to its full extent (maybe things got lost in translation, who knows). but the art was nice and the story was sad, not something new in the scope of bl but did give impact where impact was due.

struggling with their individual problems, a boy and girl meet at a secret cave to vent. this was a short read but it was an interesting one, not quite fulfilling but had compelling themes and a great art style.

an eldest son imprisons and manipulates the father that never cared for him in his own form of obsessive love, after the death of his brother and mother. one of akabekos darker works, yes its really fucked up and weird but pretty compelling from a psychological/horror perspective, on top of great art there was interesting insight into topics like child neglect, fanaticism, manipulation, etc.

mei ye is best friends with xiao hai, a mute boy whos life was saved by the sea. ngl, this was pretty sad. im glad that the extra chapter gave them a happy ending, but i feel like the sad one suited this better. very light shounen ai and the art was really pretty and vibrant.

a girl who undergoes multiple abortions to outdo her nemesis i really cant tell how the author came up with something like this... it went from extremely disturbing, to oddly entertaining to just numb acceptance at the end.

izaemon mutilates his wife iwa to earn social points. would have liked this more as a work of horror if the ending had been different. its an interesting take on yotsuya kaidan, extremely graphic and hard to get through, but disappointment really settled in when iwas ghost just decides to continue to serve izaemon instead of making his life a living hell.

mizuno cooks lunches for his classmate hashimoto after conplaining about his awful diet short, simple and so cute

this was kind of an odd read... gruesome for sure but i didnt like the gl in the context of transforming the poor woman into that vampire man's plaything.
