the cover for this was drop dead gorgeous, so when i say i was disappointed at the story, i really mean it. we were already off to an odd start with the priest being the vampire's adoptive father, but the boundaries of their relationship were really muddled. i feel like this story suffers from poor pacing, making it feel empty as the ending had no effect on me. great art, poor storytelling imo. this is completely ignoring the fact that the other vampire was having a sub/dom relationship w a child..
