Daun and Siwon's journey as young adults felt like I was being stabbed in the fucking chest with a rusty ancient relic in the desserts of ancient egypt for how relatable both the characters are. I love them so much. I felt like my struggles were being monitored and used as a reference material for stories when they had shown their backstories.
Like wtf really? (〒﹏〒). I've never even thought of reading my own thoughts written in a manhwa, much less seeing my struggles split up into characters. I was gasping when I was reading the part where it was starting to get serious, the way it was worded like what in kim whoreja's name-? HOW IS IT THAT YOU KNOW THAT DEAREST GENTLE AUTHOR??? This literally struck a nerve for me.
I love that the story started out very shallow and comedic at first. Kinda like it was supposed to go nowhere until every bit of revelations was being dropped off to the readers like a fedex package. It began to start that deep feel with Siwon, although admittedly the rumour thing with Siwon wasn't something I wanted to see, however knowing Siwon his character really needed being sharpened, he needed to face that. Daun's backstory man...shit hit me like truck-sama would its reincarnated mc's.
I love how genuine this manhwa is. It feels as though the writing is real like it's happening somewhere. Their backstories were so realistic in a sense that young adults all feel pressure, that just because you're doing well in their eyes like everything goes easy to you doesn't mean you don't work hard etc. etc. Things like these that are so common yet people tend to not notice such. Everything was worded perfectly for the readers to resonate with especially to young adults. Seeing it written down so naturally, how they wouldn't blow such small things out of proportion, acting just like any normal person would is EXTRAAA AURAAA POINTS FOR THIS. The story was concluded beautifully too with a moral lesson and a certain truth from the struggles of the young adults is something most refreshing considering the fact that not all bl's or slice of life wrap up their stories with something for you to ponder and bring with you as something you've learned from reading.
Nothing grand just a beautiful interpretation of how humans would act out like either Daun and Siwon. This story is a great example of someone who understands human fuckin' psyche well. The main couple's chemistry was so hilarious, I Iove them for being idiots, such a heartyyy story. Oh and did I mention the side couples SOOO CUTEEE everyone's struggling with something and they're not shallow and unreasonable they're mostly all level headed but still being grand masters in idiocy haha (´- v -`；)
