Edge of your seat type of read. I don't think the ending is what needed to happen, since I don't believe the father's actions were forgivable in any sense. Jin's father suddenly decided to have a personality/depth near the end of the story, which I think needed to happen sooner. Never mess with the emo kid at school, they always hiding something

Wow. So. That was a lot. The endings ambiguity is nice, we can infer what happens going forward. But I'm so attached to the characters that I wish there was more. Seriously beautiful story about trauma, ptsd, and the effects of rape. Sexual assault is so disgustingly normalized in the BL scene, so seeing a story handle it respectfully and honestly is so nice. Mandatory read imo.

A story about the cruelties of bullying, how disabilities make youth interactions very difficult, and how revenge is sometimes the only answer (lol). Save Me is an interesting read, and rereading it now for the first time in years, I understand why i really loved Namsoo back then (he's based af). The end result of the story is satisfying and I feel like everyone got what was coming to them. Definitely worth reading at least once.
