this is great like yes. everything i wanted. too bad its a fucking one shot TT-TT. sub top/dom uke. good bdsm rep for the most part -- no talk of contracts but reference to an agreement they had. good communication (no mention of a safeword but the sub never even tries to say no or acts reluctant in any way). the sub gets really drunk and wakes up to the dom having tied him up. but the sub never acts reluctant and so imma imagine that this type of thing is kind of within the lines of their agreement.
Someone Like You
The depth of the characters and the way the author explores their issues with vulnerability and dependence and why they act the way they do and how that gets in the way of their relationship... so good and reminds me kind of myself. I love the characters, especially the MC and the love interest. The MC is so me-coded, and such a good little guy but I swear he's his own biggest enemy and the reasons are understandable and I just -- the author did him well.
