The depth of the characters and the way the author explores their issues with vulnerability and dependence and why they act the way they do and how that gets in the way of their relationship... so good and reminds me kind of myself.
I love the characters, especially the MC and the love interest. The MC is so me-coded, and such a good little guy but I swear he's his own biggest enemy and the reasons are understandable and I just -- the author did him well.
