The first life is the original life, but because of the trauma, the uke created the second lifetime world, where they were regular humans and alpha/beta/omega didn't exist. He was so traumatized that he believes the first life is a novel he read that coincidentally has the same name as his and his bff/seme's. The seme was transported to that world and remembered everything in the original timeline. He was nice to the uke, because he knew that their first life was terrible and wanted to grant the uke's wish for a normal life. But I think he also wanted the uke to remember so that they could be together. Then they come back to reality but in the past as their third life at the point where things went downhill for the two. Seme remembers everything but uke thinks he's in the novel that he "read" in his second life. Seme thinks that the uke only remembers their second life and wants him to remember their first life. TL;DR The seme and uke are the same people in all three lives. The seme remembers the previous two lives and the uke does too, but he thinks his first life is just a novel, that the second life is "real", and that the current life is just him transported into the novel. Seme doesn't know that the uke remembers the first life as a novel and wants him to remember everything.
