Not bad, not great.

19/DEC/2024 Short and enjoyable. Love the art and enjoy how both characters feel like they actually live their individual lives instead of one or both being left underdeveloped to serve as a love interest. Each have their jobs and ways of living /history that feel very real. Lost points for the non-con elements, nothing ’hardcore’ but typical Yaoi with “no” being ignored ://

28/DEC/2024 Ch.18 They’re dumbasses but funny and heartwarming. Lots of goofiness that made for a fun binge. Waiting for more… Childhood friend / love triangle element is a bit exhausted for a story - but I get how it pushes the theme that you need to voice your feelings and try or you might miss out. Their relationships do contrast in a way I don’t hate though. Him leaving, writing his feelings into lyrics he doesn’t tell her, gaining status, then appearing and hoping to win her over is (seemingly) too late VS words of affirmation and growing together being (seemingly) successful - is a message i don’t hate. It’s also less irritating since Gaku admires him and faces him head on instead of the overdone jealous pity parties readers are use to. If she starts having feelings for both or dumb drama starts I’ll be disappointed though.

Overpowered but 'expressionless' Saintess who is sold off to a neighbouring kingdom. Healing story where she is cared for and learns more about herself and relying on others. Her sister back in her home kingdom unravels the plot of her sisters sudden departure and uncovers government corruption. Mia's growth,desire for revenge, and love for her sister made her a refreshing and my fav. Though the story feels like the characters aren't faced with any true challenges - as they haven't had to lose anything or face any concequences. The art is pretty and narratives way of making the women strong while highlighting the bond of sisters is nice. Long haired MLs are a bonus.
