Sweet Heart Trigger
I like this even when it's one of the most toxic relationship I've ever read. Cole, an art student has a crush on Alex, his dorm neighbor. Cole is gay and usually is bullied because of that, basically he's an outsider, so when he confess to Alex and he agrees to date him, he's over cloud nine but then, their entire relationship is based on hooking up as rabbits and nothing else. This guy, Brad, is such a good guy and I feel that he'd be better suited for Cole. I like the main couple but they're not good for each other and that makes me feel sad for both of them. I'll wait to see what happens at volume 3.
Tonari no Usotsuki (Suzaka Shina)
Takase is a gay man that pretends to be straight by having girlfriend and all, but he is secretly in love with a man who always waits for his lover at a caffe in the station. He doesn't want people to know that he is gay but at the same time he is tired of pretending to be someone that he isn't. Yuuichi is a man who is openly gay that on the same day he talked with Takase for the first time, got dumped by his boyfriend who now is about to have a baby. He has had really bad experience in love and has decided that he is not going to date anyone who has a woman as an option too. These two are just adorable. It's pretty relatable when Takase is afraid to show himself as he is and how Yuuichi is afraid to love again like an idiot just to be tossed aside. I love this story.
A Thousand Cranes
Craig is an innocent, hard-working young man that has inherited several debts from his father, so he works his ass out to pay everything before the loan sharks come after him and his sister. One morning, after his part-time job he bumps into a murder scene and he is saw by the assassin, who is still holding a knife. Now, as a witness of a crime, Craig is going to be a new collateral damage of Dean's line of work.
Kyuuso Ha Cheese no Yume Omiru
Kyouichi is married but is a lost cause and goes around cheating on his wife. When she hires a private investigator Kyouichi meets his old junior at college Imagase, who in exchange for he not reporting his behaviour asks for senpai's body. It turns out that Imagase has been in love with senpai since college and he takes this as his chance to convey his feelings, even if it's by force. I came to this because I find out that there is a movie and the critics were ... Bad? So I came to check myself. This was really intense. I mean, Imagase has been watching senpai going from girl to girl and even a wife! That are some guts. And even after that, leaving him handling because senpai is unsure of himself! What a prick! I love the last chapter where they finally came to an understanding and finally get together.
Irony Dress ni Sayonara
Aaaaaw this was so sad, comforting and sweet story. Keiichi, aka Megumi, is a fine good young man, highschool student, that oddly wears a girl's uniform. Meguru, his new neighbour, is a writer, son of a friend of Keiichi, gay and sassy man, with who, inmediately after moving in, made a click. Megumi will find in Meguru an allied, friend and support, something that he's been lacking of and, for reasons unknown, Meguru will take this boy under his wing so he doesn't have to suffer what he did in the past. They are so into each other that is unavoidable to fall in love.
