For the amount of build-up towards the climax, the ending was pretty bland. The way Roger's character was portrayed is really tragic and it was great that he had people to turn to in the end, but that made the last chapter seem rushed. The two year wait for closure wasn't all that bad, but still pretty disappointing because what I liked about this series is the fact that it was loaded with drama, but not too suffocating. Then suddenly, the whole event with Reno being attacked was brushed under the rug (just because Lambert's father is loaded).
With all the bad points above, I would still say that Nekota Yonezou's art is spectacular in this one. While there were definitely one too many pretty looking characters, they weren't too girly, which I really admire with this mangaka's works. Also, the backgrounds and the all in all mood of the manga just clicked together so well, that I could recommend this to even newbies in the yaoi genre.
Lastly, this is manga where the sex is artfully done and is never unneccessary. It is also one of the plot movers, although I wish that I got to see Reno's promise that he would 'top' Roger... Just for curiosity's sake.
