I do not do triangles, however they are played - whatsoever. However, the mentality of all the characters in this is too twisted that is turns all the favors over. The disgustingly disturbing relationship that stretched on for years between first "elder couple" was amusing and, for the lack of a better word, original. I do not consider it a sin. But, again and I stress, I do not do triangles; having the uke become a "commuter wife" was unsettling for me. It confused me as well. Was uke in love with the man chased as well? Or was this situation purely out of living convenience for both parties??? Then comes another sick...triangle? One is in love with his brother-in-law (who dies), and one loves the one who loves the bil. Years pass and they both use each other, physically, to satisfy their desires but never truly grasp it. It amazes me that, after all that time, the guy in love with his bil didn't fall in love for the guy who loved him. How messed up in the head was he to not? I mean, he was always there. Why couldn't he settle and be content? Instead he continued to pine over someone unreachable.

This started off completely wrong! But as the story progressed I was enthralled. No child should ever have to go through such a situation. Look at how mentally disturbed the seme turned out to be. And he then pushed that onto his uke. No. No. No. In the end though, I did feel some relief when seme and uke were able to make things work. Only Harada-sensei can get away with romanticizing pedophilia and rape. It’s beyond the darker side of conventional and a complete sin but what is one to do if this is purely comfort reading?
