I’m really invested in the plot. I’m in chapter 20 now and I don’t even care that the romance has barely started. I genuinely wish all goes well with ML’s problems. As for the MC, he’s got some ATTITUDE PROBLEMS - I honestly was swearing at him throughout the story so far. He’s just as bad as those scumbags of rich business men that he fucks over. I sense an incoming major character growth for him though, with ML as the catalyst. The love story isn’t forcibly rushed and I really appreciate that. ML is surrounded by scumbags and I’m scared something is going to happen to him or to his sister. If something happened to MC, I would honestly not lament, as he would just be getting karma, HOWEVER ML IS DIFFERENT. He’s a precious office worker who takes his big brother role seriously. Albeit he has guilty conscience when he was younger for neglecting his sister, I don’t blame him really - he was also just a kid, and their parents both passed away, so he prematurely carried on the responsibility to care for his sister out of necessity for survival even though it’s not really his responsibility as a child himself. And now he treats her responsibly, anyway. Meanwhile MC may have a dark past, but that’s not an excuse for abusing his power and ruining not just bad people’s lives but also innocent people’s lives.
