Kamisama Nanka Shinjinai Bokura no Eden
This hit me out of nowhere?? Interesting seme — I’m kind of looking forward to the unfolding of his character (update) I just realized this: it has a really unique and interesting premise! Instead of a world with the second sexes already rampant and normalized, the two main characters actually go through their second sexes without prior knowledge that such a thing could exist in the normal world, and try to navigate the newfound challenge! I’m especially invested in the personal growth of the coupling.
Love History Caused by Willful Negligence
This is so interesting. I like the pacing and the art. The characters have a certain dynamic so it’s not boring even with the stereotypical black-bellied seme. Stereotypical but also not. The author has a way of manipulating the vibe of seme so that he is still also his own unique person. The art style is perfect. (Update) at first this was only tagged worth reread (instead of 3000) but this is actually so well-done after having read it this far (80). Where else can I find a slowburn smut WEBTOON like this with a relatable ML and a lovable MC? Plus the plot and line art. The undertone of their feelings. The fact that the story is told in internal monologue switching between mc and ml. Anyway, I realized I haven’t had such a satisfying read in awhile!
Haru no Arashi to Monster
Ai to Makoto (Moriyo)
Interesting premise; but more interesting story. Even with the questionable dynamics, it didn’t feel too creepy — somehow each character’s needs were clear and the roots of which were understandable, so with that understanding, it all works out with a good balance. The taboo is still there but you come to get used to it as it doesn’t take up the vibe of the whole story. The taboo is the underlying issue, but the deeper issue is loneliness. Seiji and Aiji was just mysterious at first (and more than a tad sus) but later on with their interactions with Towa, we get to know more about their backstory and personalities. Towa also have his own personality. Overall, the characters aren’t flat, and they have a dynamic that balances out, weird as it sounds.
Unholy Night
Pretty good. I wanted it to be longer. It’s good, but not long enough that I got truly invested.
My Secret Stalker
The concept reminds me of Stalker’s Game (I have a strong inkling that it’s the inspiration of the author) although the tone is different from how SG was written and the characters also. Line art is pretty nice.
