Shitsuke ga Nattenai
Somehow, they’re well-balanced despite being polar opposites in nature. But I like how they feel comfortable with each other

I thought the side story couple was a weird match up… I was afraid it would flop, but actually it has great potential for character growth. I’m glad it hasn’t flopped so far… the flow seems natural. I have high hopes BECAUSE the uke here is a completely douchebag - like, he made me so MAD. I liked the smart and mature seme from beginning though! I would have stayed for him, regardless of the uke, but it’s seems like there’s a chance the uke can be tamed and taught how to be a proper human. Crossed-fingers! Update: There is just no end for assholes in this WEBTOON (face-palm). The moment I think I’ve seen it all and survived it all, another big fat asshole appears (cry). I REALLY hope I’ll feel satisfied by the end of all of this (the art is so beautiful though and I can’t make myself leave)(plus the psychological dynamics, either ambiguous or clear, are irresistible to my nature - the guilty pleasure to my analytical and emotive brain) Update: 140. Karma is a bitch. Side couple - is the ultimate grey pair. The uke had a taste of his own medicine - he might’ve deserved it, but the whole ordeal is still unpleasant (and by that I mean disgusting). As it turns out, uke is not as infallible as he believed. Now he has a trauma. And the only person he could trust is the seme, who could not stand uke’s attitude and his very existence. However, seme is not like our ill-mannered morally grey uke, and is more decent and human than that atrocious monster. So this monster now has to learn manners and humanity from seme because he literally has no one to rely on except seme (uke’s family is horrible to him, his friends are maggots without conscience). And uke does start to change. His sins in the past are not forgotten, but mayhap he could change course yet, and save the world another vermin and sustain less damage. - I read ahead and the redhead MC for the side story really deserved his lesson and more. He’s suffering, yes, but he still does unrestrained things and inevitably injures the ML (I love the ML btw, although I’m not really into smokers the rest about him I love) Update. That just got suddenly more intense without preamble. The side story is like a steep mountain that has a clean side that barely gives to undulations for rest — the undulations don’t allow for a long reprieve either. Even rest was precarious. The turnabout for uke is fully deserved, but as an emotive reader, it’s still difficult to go through the heartbreak with him (it’s called heartbreak for a reason, doesn’t really matter who it is). Kudos to writer for the way they weaved the story and depicted the character’s personalities as well as dynamics. It didn’t seem unnatural at all when uke’s change of heart finally got revealed. There were tiny hints of changes in his behavior and psyche that pointed to a possibility of his change of heart regarding seme. With a black character, turning it human surely is an undertaking, but even when then, the form the character takes still may be a human that do only perform to a certain extent like humans. In this uke’s case, that’s yet to revealed. But the heartbreak is necessary. (And I have to wait for the next chapters) 159 oh what a big fat liar. Don’t say things like that so easily!!! He MESSED UP.
