My Way With You
Many things about this read makes it my favorite. First off, the love style and the individual personalities of the characters totally suit my tastes. It was enjoyable to read all the way and no feeling of annoyance was invoked in me throughout the whole experience because of that. Secondly, Giran (MC) is a Virgo (september 1)!!! Rarely do I get a character I love share the same zodiac as me. This just EXPONENTIALLY made this read better. How is it relevant? Because I relate to him more than ever now! Thirdly, the ART. Period. It’s one of the greatest art style in my own opinion. My goodness - just gotta swoon. Fourthly, the plotline. A little bit of angst and that soulful pain and healing ALWAYS will get to me. Then, you have the happy ending and the extra. The ending monologue struck me as such a good one. I have to reread this. Angel, do you hear me? This is worth the reread! (Update) rereading impressions: I love how meaningful the story is overall. MC and ML respectively are precious in their own right, each one of them having gone through something that made their world cave in, harboring a desperate need no one else could dare understand or could fill up — until they found their way to each other. Their lover habits suit each other so well: loyalty, service, intimacy, words of affirmation. MC is a Virgo so I have a special place in my heart for him — accurate depiction. ML is serious so even if I found him suspicious at first, my trust and affection for him rekindled when he had a change of heart toward MC. It was basically a hate to love trope for him. PLUS
Isoganaide
Sorry, but Akinobu is my favorite of all
Superstitious Nine
Hold on. This is unexpectedly endearing? I don’t usually fall for this type of frivolous plot, but I really feel for the MC and she’s neither annoying or overboard kind of character so far. I want to cheer her on, and the ML is also just the right balance of honest and cool but adorable. Their chemistry is good too.
Suki ni Nattara Dame desu ka?
This was actually not so bad.. I usually like a deeper vibe, but the minimal drama is also a nice change of pace. I didn’t like the girl who was being too forward and became defensive when her rude prying and presumptuous was didn’t get a warm reception. I’m surprised he apologized to her, but later realized that it made sense - he sympathized with her at that time because his own love was unrequited. Anyway, I love the friendship he has with his group (cute interactions) and that he fits well with his serious teacher despite their differ personalities.
