Oof.. this is too good

Forever. One of my favorites. This level of insight… multiple themes intricately woven with each other without being too confusing… obscure just enough to submerge one into the water without drowning. A story about the true meaning of fate, of life, of desire, and most importantly… the true meaning of self. The character and world building pierced me with their sharpness — it’s just a story, but the characters and their world laid out the truth with masterful insight and obscurity. Sora and Jeong Ha and Kang Hee are very dear. Their struggles are close to home, and the answers they’ve come to are not exactly that grand, but grand in its nobility. Sora didn’t want to surrender to his fate, but the way he fought against his own destiny was selfless; it was through betting on Jeong Ha’s survival. Jeong Ha’s wish despite his character was so humble and very him in the end. Kang Hee is a good girl, brave and discerning, and she saved both Sora and Jeong Ha for being their friend. Her heart is in the right place. Did I say she was brave? I mean, handling those two would be very tough on anyone! Those two are strong, after all, and Kang Her has managed to fit into the balance.

Okay, the character growth isn’t so bad, and the character themselves all have their own charm, turning out to be complex and relatable in their own way. The plot was great, and the problems were resolved in a simple, but organic way - they were resolved in a way that was true to their characters. If there’s something I can gripe about even just a little bit, it would be that it’s always the first guy who gets the girl. It would have been more interesting if somehow the author made the story more complex and deep by maneuvering is to believing that it’s the first lead when in fact it was the second lead who mc if going to end up with - it’s not like the other characters aren’t worth as a ml after all. Well, I am partial to Ieiri, despite thinking of him as such a jerk at first. At the end, I really wished for him to be happy somehow. But I like ichijou too, so I’m actually happy for Nanami and ichijou, and I’m just griping nonsensically lolol. My first love though is gochima, such a good guy he is.

(246-247) I’ve realized now why I’m so invested and in love with jujutsu kaisen. First, nanamin. Second, higuruma. They are a few of the character that really resounded to me. “My role..” they were not out for recognition, but self-aware of what must be done. They possessed the clarity and unwavering resolve even to the last second of their lives to achieve what they think was their role in the grand scheme of things. Also a strong sense of morals. Higuruma and Nanami could have ran away and lived another life. But they chose to pursue their ideals to the very end. Their lives were forfeited but they both made the difference in the world. (I feel itadori’s pain so much I was WTFFF) Omg the overlap between higuruma and nanamin in this chapter hit me like a blunt weapon — I really feel for Itadori. Similarly, Itadori understood the beyond respectable convictions and nobility of these characters, and he’s actually bonded both of them beforehand. I really felt the blow. (I was just cheering that I found another character I love the way I love nanami, but turns out he was killed so after I reached that point of grasping this level of affection (261) I got goosebumps everywhere, each and every time. This getting weirder and weirder and yet it all makes sense — insanity!

Dojun… same. Same. I’m giving this a 5 star because of the second couple. And there’s this mystery around Dojun and the other brother, as if it wasn’t good enough! Wow. Dojun is so relatable though and these pair are showing so much character growth that it’s so fulfilling to read! Just don’t mess up the ending PLEASSSEEE

When is this going to conclude I want more updates

I have no words for this manga. Or more accurately, I believe my ability to articulate fail me when in comes to beholding the great aspects of this manga.
