Yakusoku no Neverland
This one took me by surprise like a storm - and I love the soundtrack for the anime. Great dynamics between the characters, especially our trio. Wonderful world of mystery and fantasy, not in the aesthetic sense but in the genius of it. I got especially attached to one character, Norman. I love Emma and Ray as well, but Norman just strung a a chord in me.
Mistake Lover
At first I thought it was just going to be a lighthearted, funny, slice of life, predictable BL story, but it’s actually more interesting than I expected. The seamless multiple POV mash-up to convey the feelings of the two ML friends, not to mention to show their personalities and to mash it up with another love story, impressed me and entertained me very much. Despite the meticulousness of this work, it was still pretty funny. Altogether, the good points exponentially boosted up the total brownie points. The art is totally great too — a very important point for me ^ ^
Sore Wa Tabun Itoshii Tte Koto
I don’t know how many times I’ve read this manga already, but I still love it and plan to reread it again. Something about the characters, the dialogue, the writing style, the scenarios, the art overall, touched me deeply. It’s hard to pinpoint the most charming point, but I would say its authenticity, psychological aspects (and portrayal), and the character dynamic have to have been a part of the irresistible draw. There’s just something raw and alive about the story. Will never forget this manga.
To be or not to be
So so good. Unlike any transmigration novel I’ve read. I didn’t expect that the MC wouldn’t follow the usual pattern of arrogance and exaggeratedly dramatic behaviors that can be seen in other MCs in transmigration novels. Admittedly one of my favorite MC - genuinely kind, sometimes cute, cool and smart, without trying too hard. And the ML is just right too. I like the pace of the plot. I’m so surprised with how pleasant this manga turned out to be. I can’t wait for more. Definitely a MUST READ and WORTH REREAD.
