So interesting.
A couple things are for sure:
The art is beautiful. Period.
The MC, Ilic, is surprisingly endearing! I’m sold on him. He killed someone though, which I’m not happy about. And he acted questionable is certain situations. Although it was for his own survival, I wouldn’t say I approve either. I just understand it and accept it. Later on, he’s going to give me a lot of adorable moments to make up for it, and that’s just the nature of loving a character as well — you just fall, either fall in or out of love with them, regardless of the marginal flaws.
Another thing: the duke is a pervert, but MC gives him what he deserves once in awhile. It’s so cathartic too. Without the MC, I’m not sure I’d like the duke. However, since he’s soft on the MC, I think he’s redeemable.
Anyway, so good and entertaining.
