I don't agree with half of these comments, honestly. Like, I get that the emperor and the sister were mean to the MC on first glance in her human form, but none of these people are trying to see things from THEIR point of view! How crazy it'd be for some random woman to appear in the middle of your bedroom and talking about how she's your pet cat. Be realistic here. Even the prime minister said he read up her condition in books and NOTHING. Why would you believe something like that off the bat? I wouldn't automatically believe this random lady for saying she's my cat and the commenters wouldn't either. Imagine if you saw a naked dude on your porch in the middle of the night and he's calling your name lovingly. You'd think it was a creep. He starts saying hes your pet dog Jolty. So now bro is a creep AND a maniac? Incredible! Anyways. Ofc I get how shaken MC was by it and her feelings are valid too because they were mean and the emperor was going to KILL her. BOTH their feelings are valid. The commenters are just idiots who lack basic common sense. Anyways. Apart from my rant, 10/10 story. I remember reading this a while back. It's still a banger. Really wish MC could clear his name, though, because it's quite sad that everyone thinks his past self -- one armed martial artist -- was some kind of demon. He wasnt. It was the OPPONENT that was the villain. He just got thrown in prison and was ridiculed then labelled in that manner. Horrible, horrible stuff. I sincerely hope he clears up his name, somehow.
