Sweet with a side of bitter and angsty. he almost gives up until that flashback in c13 when he realizes he and seme love the same poem. What can I hold you with? HOW CAN I HOLD ON TO YOU? The omega made a move on the alpha the morning after he got drunk on one drink...he did not know he could get mpreg bc he was a late bloomer. Facts. The pregancy wasn't hidden, the alpha was in the US for all those years. He chose not to burden the seme with a child. The uke made it big at some point, trailblazing away with his blog and made a good life for his daughter. Admirable. The alpha was left brained, logical, all math, stoic af but he was kind. He didn't understand love and what he felt for the uke back in school. He researched self help books and convinced himself it wasn't love, maybe it was a phase...but he couldn't stop thinking about the uke. Fast forward.. He wanted to take responsibility for having a kid and he wanted to be in her life.Good guy. The best part is the uke turned him down. He held out for the reciprocation of his love and dedication and was willing to move on since the seme couldn't figure out his own feelings because he and his daughter deserved better. #selfesteemgoals Endgame: they gave themselves to each other completely.

Ok this is the first time I've read an omegaverse where the rape worked in the plot. As a teen, the omega is about to jump to his death rather than be gang raped, the alpha who has been in love with him since they were kids knows he can't fight the others off AND he'd have done anything to keep his precious person from dying/ suiciding in front of him. What does he do? Protect him the best way he can...sex and a pair bite and the gang lost interest...too bad the leader of the would be gang of rapists was the fated pair of the omega so we just barely avoided that whole cliche of falling in love with your rapist since it is your fated pair. I know this is my non rapey omegaverse list but this title should be read and discussed even though noncon is involved.

I get that the seme was abused but it's no excuse to rape someone to kill time
