This is simply lovely. Obviously the premise of missing animals (and possibly something even more sinister) isn't great, but in terms of romance, I love me a chill slice of life without the typical dramatics of the romance/BL genre - it's a nice change of pace. I love both of the leads and seeing the animals doing well is <3 can't wait to read more. Edit: Be ready for it to hurt as well as comfort you. It's not full-on comfort series and I don't want to make false claims on that, but it's not all happiness and sunshine either. Of course, there is the main premise of someone going around killing animals, which already says this isn't the most light-hearted story out there. I still find the relationship to be comforting.
