I need more!!! This already gets huge points from me for giving MC a sister instead of a brother with her adoptive family (there's nothing inherently wrong with a brother, it can just get tiring when it's typically the only "good" sibling option) AS WELL AS HAVING THE DUKE ALREADY BE LOVINGLY MARRIED AND THE DUCHESS BECOMES MC'S MOTHER TOO WITHOUT MUCH HASSLE. (Listen. Listen. I'm so done with seeing women pitted against each other always, often for "just because". Not having to see that with them, especially when they suddenly became family, is so nice and refreshing!!). And idk who was complaining about the art, but whoever they are, they must be talking crap for no reason - the art isn't bad at all.

The Male Lead Is In Charge Of The Successor

I'm only at chapter 18, so I really hope they'll fix this, but so far I'm so frustrated at the treatment of Raven (black-haired red-eyed boy). He is clearly a child, he clearly thinks and acts like one, and he's being severely abused. Yet it feels as if he's being painted as a villain or someone evil, someone who may not deserve redemption (this is my fear). He is a child for gods sake, a child who has been let down by every single adult in his life. Actions of an 8-year old isn't a reflection of them, it's a reflection of their surroundings. He is at an age where, if properly taken care of, he can and will get better, but it really seems like no adult is there to step up for him and to take him away from his father. I had a bit of hope when the old man Duke reprimanded his own son, but when he let his grandchild still go with him... to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. If they continue to keep treating Raven as a villain, okay, fine, I don't like it. It's the story. If they do it, they fucking better make sure to be clear that it's because of his dad and his environment and not because of him. No child is evil. It's their surroundings that make them into bad adults. At least, if the story keeps at this direction, I damn sure hope the readers won't be villifying Raven when (let me reiterate) HE IS STILL A CHILD. A CHILD WHO IS ACTIVELY ABUSED, a child who has no safe space nor an adult to lean on for support or help. I feel so bad for him. He deserves so, so, so much better.
