Violette is the evil daughter of the duke of the kingdom she's ruthless evil and even commited am act of violence against her half sister out of jealousy only to end up being convicted and thrown in prison. So where do we go from here the evil person is being punished is there even a story to tell ? of course. Violette finds that she's being reincarnated to a year ago when she first met the younger sister that destroyed her happiness and this time she plans not to bother anyone. Violette is a beautiful charachter. She's beautiful I can't explain it well enough. She isn't like anything else and I know there's loads of these reincarnation novels but she really is so vastly different from so many of the other women in her position. She truly has experienced despair her mother and her father abandoned her and the only thing she could cling onto to maybe escape her reality was the crown prince and that ended her up in prison. You can really empathise with her. She just wants to be happy and you can see it. I can't explain how perfect this one is I think if I had to recommend one vilaness story it might be this one. What should one do when their entire purpose is to be cannon fodder just to kickstart the adventure to someone elses story ? Fuck shit up of course. Armed with the knowledge of the novels correct events and with the determination to not die young a second time raelina proposes a fake engagement with one person who's side she knows she will benefit from Duke Noah Wyknight. But it's impossible to change the direction of a story and not have some adverse effects right ? what will happen to raelina now that she has firmly taken the wheel into her own hands and driven the story down it's own path ? The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion is invigorating. It's intriguing and the tension building is wonderful every single charachter has life and personality. The tension that the author builds is beautiful we know that raelina knows a lot from her past and yet here we are still lost and anxious over how things will play out we feel comforted by her knowledge when she does and scared by the lack of it too. It's good. 7/10 + when side charachters become sentient and decide to take the male lead for themselves
