Seme has good justification for his actions, so the shift to a more intimate relationship, though awkward, is literally making sense both in plot and to us. annoying asf censorship. There will be a clawlike pincer hand against a black panel, and I have to guess "is it a nipple?" bc this shit forces u to use ur imagination. Censorship bets marginally better in later chapters (more for ur imagination to work with, not just a black panel).

idk im not a fan of the summary, plus one of the comments kinda turned me off from it... BUT it has absolutely gorgeous art and imo amazing art can justify a surprising amount of shitty plotline, so I'll def give this a try

SHUT UPPPPP this is pure fluff sweet cute aegi darling amazing beautiful incredibleness. The setting is nice, and maybe the development could use some work, but this excels at it's main purpose, which is to be short and cute. I like it a ton, the art style is cute, and i gotta go check out the other works by this author

um. so where's season 3?!?!?!? all that aside, im reading this bc its so popular so i feel like u gotta get through it once (my third time trying, i finally succeed in finishing it!!) do i understand why it got so big? no not really, but i will say the mc is absolutely gorgeous and so ofc ive had fun seeing him cry/get fucked! in the sense that this manwha and plot r excuses to write a porno, i will say the authro did a good job of incorporating lots of yummy scenes! plus, i think ive also been stockholmed like mc, bc i do find myself liking their dynamic at the end? the beginning, and lead up to sm of the yummy scenes leave much to be desired but oh whale, we move. I will say all the other nobles r anniying and creepy looking asf, ml at the beginning but now he looks more human i think? this is genuinely one of the worst manwhas ive ever read. art is inconsistent, characters r dumb or assholes, and plot is weird. I was so interested in the concept at first bc emperor yearning and desiring his knight is yum given existing power, but knowing that this bitch has been pursuing my pookie since he was THREE YEARS OLD. THREE. THREE AND NINE IS NOT OK, esp considering that he officially recognizes the start of his love/marriage attempts at 7 and 13... no i actually hate this, this is textbook grooming. and it frustrates me that pookie knight doesnt realize the way hes been acting/his feeligns result from grooming, but ig in that sense it does somewhat match the grooming backstory (im 100% sure the author did not intend the grooming or the resulting behavior, im sure they just wrote what they thought an uke should look like, but it somehow makes sense). the seme is horrible and literally everyone around him knows it, its like knight's whole family is desperately trying to protect him from a groomer but the groomer has more capital so they arent allowed to stop him. watching how seme manipulates situations, tries to get engaged against knight's wishes, isolates him from him family, convinces him that everythings normal when its in fact not, turns my stomach. ALSO THE ART IS SHIT, i genuinely think this is some horrible mismatch of arists or traced. their faces always look different, knight's features are so inconsistent i can find like 3-4 diff people in him, and its not an art progression but the changws shows up at ranodm moments. Seme has random golden eyelashes, and the linework (ESP W THE HANDS WTF) is sloppy. the difference in quality between panels is so astounding im surprised how some got approved. I wonder if the artist is copying what they see in other mangas without actually understanding the basics of drwign, proportions, cgaracter design, anatomy, etc. (the same goes for this overly stupid plotline, exposition, and ml). Im also rlly annoyed by how pookie knight is done dirty. HES A KNIGHT. HES STRONG AND CAPABLE BUT WE HAVE BARELY EVER SEEN THAT. the face he showed to the emperor at 20 (in a the flashback) feels more mature than today. I rlly like that he keeps trying to get married but the way the exposition is given to us as if the characters r also realizng the facts of their world alongside us makes it feel like theyre overly naive and stupid (and ik my pookies not like that, its the authors fault 100%). and yeah it pisses me off that their pjs have this tiny minidress esque thing (technically only a shirt) and NO UNDERWEAR and bro is just comfy running around in the palace??? it makes no sense, the author's just trying to push somehting and i hate it i hate it. I dont inherently dislike "red flag" stories but at least most stories recognize their red flags or leave it for the pwp it is, the attempts to set this up within a plot + the involvement (and constant recall) to knight's childhood and youth repulses me. The 2 star only comes because i like mc's family and how they try to protect him, i like his friends and how they try to protect him, and ofc i love my pookie. ugh the mjore i talk the more annoyed i feel Also this story perfectly encapuslates why i hate the "red flag green flag" labeling of stories. has there been rape in this? no. is this one of the worst semes (in my opinion) that I have personally read? yes. I can't tolerate grooming, and the fact that some people dont consider this grooming is driving me insane. While i do commend seme for not assaulting knight in this one moment, did he not also jerk off literally on him?? does he not push his spoken boundaries and try to trap him in an engagement? I hate his fucking guts and he is an asshole of the highest caliber, but some poeple still justify calling him "green flag," its absolutely insane
