Second time reading this, and its been a while. I originally said " the story was compelling in a quiet realistic way" and yk what, yes. the way they fall in love is so beautiful. I can see how it was clumsy at the beginning, but truly all the scenes are so sweet, and you see how two unlikely people who are both imperfect in their own ways grow towards each other, and eventually fall. The distancing and problems with the school were honestly deserved in my opinion, and yes although the situation was horrible and made me + them feel sad, it was a believable and sadly frequent outcome of the beginning. Then when they work on themselves and get back together it's a bit idealistic and rushed, but i think i can chalk that up to them (still lol) being young and naive, and youth. You kinda see that in the blushes lol, they annoyed me a bit at first, but seeing the 3 year dating ver and 8 year dating ver, you can tell theyve grown so much more comfortable with each other. speaking of the time skips, idk if ive ever seen manwhas do that? I seriously appreciated it tho, it gave us a realistic way of how their life progressed, and (sadly) brought it back down to earth with the engagement and marriage dreams. That was kinda a return to form to the mood in the beginning chapter: quiet, melancholic, but real. I really truly loved this manga. absolutely insane. I remember how I used to come back every week when this was updating (before i had an account that gave me notifications) and i always loooked out for this manga specifically. I remember and understand why. (ALSO ITS SO FUNNY HOW IT KEEPS TRYING TO GET PAST THE SHOUNEN AI RATING LMAO, LIKE THE CUCUMBER??? AND LIKE BRO I JUST SAW U JERK OFF DONT TRY TO PLAY W ME AND CLAIM UR INNOCENT LMAOOOOO)

Nice art, uke is pretty asf and mildly crazy just the way i like them (check bookmark lol)plot seems very typical and im totally not mad abt it. Ukes got shit going on (im scared it might actuakky be bad but whatever) and Seme is undercover delinquent a la Aren from Saiki or that dude from peach love LMAO. The shift from classmate to friend was well done in a short period of time, so I applaud this author. Closeness didnt feel forced (not that they are THAT close but still lol), and i'm looking forward to the devlopment of the story (bc im gonna go read like 13 chapters of raws :DDD) YEPPP ITS CUTE ASF Seme AND Uke blush a bunch later, i literally have no clue why but it looks cute. PLUS!! PLUS!!! Uke lets seme carry him to the nurse when he's (mildly) injured later, that is PEAK cliche writing omg I love it so far

Rutta to Kodama is an absolute classic, i must've read this over like 4 times now???? i aboslutely adore their dynamics, the way theyre together from DAY ONE, the realistic aspects at the end, just everyhting about them!!! and even beyond them i love the second couple and my best girlie, this whole manga is just so so sickeningly sweet and adorable, plus its so me?? llike there r some scenes where i dont even have to try seeing myself and my future girl (plsplsplsplspls) behaving like them, i just live everything abt this so so much

I want to hate this but FUCK IT I DONT THEYRE SO CUTEEEEEEE (after the beginning lol). i rlly like how they're balancing each other out (plus seme had his necessary character development) !! NGL his sister was entirely right and if this was irl i would be so on her side but guess what :p we arent irl :p ! I also rlly had fun w the bit where his friends were observing him and seeing he wasnt mr school pres, its a guilty pleasure of mine (watching the show aus, im looking at u!)

super fucking cute!!! the perfect amount of disbelief suspension and 2nd hand embarassment!! the gradual change from stealing to fighting to weak spot to double weak spot to relationship was crazyyyyyy good!! i also love uke's hobby, i am also an enjoyers of super cute adorable shit (and obvs an enjoyer of enjoyers of that too!!) Their relationship was so healthy and cute and i adore all their friends, esp the girlies!! it felt like a little smth was missing tho (a bit too fast mb?), and i lowkey just wish they gave pookie some eyebrows akfhjgdlsfj

yeah ok so this mightve been one of the cutest things ive ever fuckign read. the plot and concept start offf implausible, in a "roll w it for fun" anyways type vibe, but then it develops into this thing that hurts so fucking much? and talk about haunting the narrative, i have complicated emotions about ririka but i think i am leaning towards "like" despite everythign. ofc pookie daughter is adorable with all her standoffish attitude, and the mc/ml personality do rlly contribute to the odd household, which i love!! the development of the relationship wasnt too too much, but thats bc they alr had that history, and fuck ya im a sucker for an uke who WAS in love but then just gets annoyed by seme ajhgfkjadfgh. ANYWAYS, super adorable all around, AND THE COLORING IS FUCKING AMAZING BRO I LIKE LOVE THE ART STYLE AND COVERS

lmao. ok so just take literally every stereotype and bring it up to max and here you have it! it's kinda nostalgic in that sense? in the sense that its the same story (repacking in new pretty art!). younger poor in debt workaholic naive innocent head-over-heels pretty uke x older rich kinda ugly chaebol uninterested playboy trash rbf lying piece of shit seme akgfdkahgdfkdg. one thing i will say is i like how seme continuously gets jealous! i dont like what he does w that bc hes a conceited asshole but oh well lol. I like the art! pookie mc is absolutely adorable, esp the chibis, and even tho he's crazy stupid (i genuinsly dont see any reason for him to act this way except for the author needing to write a romance), i do like the moments where he shows grit and determination! also the scenes r well drawn... i mean am i the biggest fans of all of them? no absolutely not. but we get good body cuts and reactions, ie the artist knowstheir shit! sad they used it for this. in the sense that its mid, 3, in the sense of nostalgia, 3. 5
