Second time reading this, and its been a while. I originally said " the story was compelling in a quiet realistic way" and yk what, yes. the way they fall in love is so beautiful. I can see how it was clumsy at the beginning, but truly all the scenes are so sweet, and you see how two unlikely people who are both imperfect in their own ways grow towards each other, and eventually fall. The distancing and problems with the school were honestly deserved in my opinion, and yes although the situation was horrible and made me + them feel sad, it was a believable and sadly frequent outcome of the beginning. Then when they work on themselves and get back together it's a bit idealistic and rushed, but i think i can chalk that up to them (still lol) being young and naive, and youth. You kinda see that in the blushes lol, they annoyed me a bit at first, but seeing the 3 year dating ver and 8 year dating ver, you can tell theyve grown so much more comfortable with each other. speaking of the time skips, idk if ive ever seen manwhas do that? I seriously appreciated it tho, it gave us a realistic way of how their life progressed, and (sadly) brought it back down to earth with the engagement and marriage dreams. That was kinda a return to form to the mood in the beginning chapter: quiet, melancholic, but real. I really truly loved this manga. absolutely insane. I remember how I used to come back every week when this was updating (before i had an account that gave me notifications) and i always loooked out for this manga specifically. I remember and understand why.
