MC (blond) sees black hair as rival theatre actor. But ML liked uke since he saw him in a play during childhood. Now they in a play together as love interests (blond acting as a woman) and MC starts to like seme. Now finally confession stage (Vol 3 Ch 12)
They are now officially together, unfortunately have to keep it a secret from everyone however they're pretty bad at that and lots of people know, including ukes granddad. Grandad basically liked seme's grandad (deceased) 50 years ago mutually, but they decided to separate and never work together in kabuki again so they can get married to women and have kids.
For that reason grandad seems accepting, though no one knows that was the reason for their "falling out".
Seme's older brother is also against the relationship as seme's "needs to carry on the bloodline" to create a good kabuki actor (that's not how that works but okay lol). He kinda has a side story with ukes cousin
