Old childhood friends. One day separated because seme kissed uke. Years later uke became a general of his country but lost to seme(who change his name). Uke went under surgery to change face and infiltrate seme castle as concubine. Seme has curse that turns hair black to white and cold skin. Seme really likes uke and has been looking for him since his "death" to protect him. Started to fall in love with uke but protects the ukes brother who looks like original uke. Seme thinks the brother is the uke who went under surgery. Uke knows the seme (with new name) is the childhood friend. But hiding it from him because doesn't want to disillusion him. Uke physical body was strong before the surgery and became super weak

Uke have second chance at life because of seme (unknown to the both) they both return to the past and uke is finding out that the seme has been helping all this time and not as cold as he thought he was before in the past life.

Uke was sent as replacement concubine of neighboring kingdom because of prophecy that she would live a good life (prosperous) if they send the person from the prophecy to the kingdom as her replacement (the uke). The king (seme) notices he is not the real concubine but started to fall in love (feel special) toward him and possibly be reencounter moment from someone in the past. Uke is able to calm the headaches of seme which is why seme starting to fall in love
