People are so weird, why hate on the MC? You have to remember that her past traumatized her. PEOPLE cannot EASILY forget their past. MC dealt with that for years, and of course she's gonna hate the Pei Zhang guy thing. She's still TRAPPED by the betrayal, mistrust, and tortured crap. You can't just suddenly have her forget what happened and start anew again. It takes people a while for that.
