The Player Hides His Past
53 brillant The idea of the split hero allows for the MC to be both the archetype of the dark hero with a revenge and your average cowardly modern guy , full of ordinary flaws ( like greed) The balance between the two is good enough so that the flaws of both archetypes don’t feel too burdensome The characters powers are on the same vein : the super duper OP perfction of the dark hero allows meet the very pathetic amount of mane of a regular guy with little experience Add to that a variety of secondary characters with strong personalities, quests that mostly bring the best out of players, cooperation spirit that surpass even greed and you have a witty, fun, faster paced story full of heart and spunk Definitely a bad choice for sleeping, but most certainly a very entertaining ride Add to that
The Male Lead’s Handsomeness Is a Big Problem
42 : not that bad ? (3.5?) This title manages to take all the worst type of tropes, but moving on soon enough so they don’t get unbearable. The MC has a bad i. Read the novel again, but fortunately she’s surrounded by smart people. So yes you have an evil c9 when she tries to push away the ML towards who she believes to be his destiny, but she doesn’t push too hard nor too long. Youget the point. All the worst of bad communication run through at mac4 speed, and then you had a bit of another common trope (a very obvious lost family) and it runs at the same full speed. The characters are not too stupid or stubborn. They mostly have good intentions. There’s no villain so far, just a bunch of things happening (fast) The overall feeling is rather enjoyable, as long as you endure an episode or two when it becomes cringey. The entire cast is just so friendly it makes it pretty nice to read Iit’s not great, but also certainly not as bad as i was fearing it could be be
