Torikago Syndrome
An Innocent Sin
very disturbing, the background of the Mc is beyond violent and sick, deeply sad it's sad also because the sex game were fun and entertaining, it was refreshing to have good will people having safe fun, being happy in their body, and you have told a lot of stories there, about the boundaries of commitment of the complicated choices of "freedom", without involving sex violence it could have been a totally different story the addition of dark abuse around it is a big disapointement as it kind of kill the purpose of that liberated discovery Plot wise, things don't work so well too. to me the MC is beyond repair, he's been made into a rapist and a murderer at 16 and then was abused for 8 years straight after, he's continuously under surveillance scrutiny and he's threaten, and mostly he should be plagued by guilt the thing that is too much fr me is the murder of his good friend, to which i i indeed an accomplice, even if he has circumstances. i don't really see him healing from that, despite the author best effort, i'm totally in denial there. How could he suddenly fall for cutie pie girl and forget all his troubles? Because she's sexy and forgiving ? I wish... Add to that smarty pant coffee owner forgot to be smart when he had the opportunity to learn more about his "target", and also he seems to miss the fact that obviously age wise some things of the past have little reason to be the responsibility of the sister, hence he overlook the mother ... strange and there you have something that could have make two good stories (one happy sex friend life slice of life kind , the other dark family abusing their boy thriller) and it would - probably - all be good but these two don't add up in my book, it leaves the second arc dominating an extra erotic content that lacks a lot of credibility in matters of character developpement side not the name of the club should have been "pea" and not "peach" if if was to shorten it all book long... that's basic com
Deadlock
saddly some "emotionnal parts " are poor, but the story itself is interesting and intriging. It's not shawshank but still way worth reading
The Sound of Your Voice
64 ? - Nice take on trauma, smartly written, a bit dark, yet not gloomy, pretty realistic too from my perspective, The characters are not overly written, they keep lots of unexplained parts which is good
What's There To Know
A bit like Beck, graphically interesting, but less music and more drama The « in media ress » is terrifying and the cute girl gets a dead tag on her hear from chapter one This makes it at the time very a energetic read, but also a angsty one (hence 4not 5) That, just like nana did not need to carry so much hopelessness, did it ?
7 Seeds
So good… yet so bad… the storytelling is out of this world, the winter story and the summer one team arc made e cry bucket and that’s my problem, it is too good to drop, but i hate tragedies I seriously hate them ... but the story is just too good, i hate to love it
Generation's Queen Ling
Deep harem intrigues gets amplified by the presence of magical races, who were beaten by the « human » emperor A spirit hidas a slave girl struggles to survive and find her own people to return to her lost land, but her personality attract the isolated puppet emperor … It’s hard to know where it leads or if it will be good in the long run Both MC seems to carry a bit too much of a dark past, which is most often an unnecessary burden to a narrative, but it’s beautiful and interesting at start, so let’s hope it will grow without falling into the easy tragedy trap :)
Soul Contract
It’s expectedly gloomy, maybe more than what i thought … the ml is so desperate and lonely that you can not help ache for him Th mc is seriously too empty and stupid whic hinder the immersion. Characters are mostly empty, except for very few chapters when they reveal a bit of depth It’s not too bad, but it feels evasive, floating, probably diluted If there’s nohappy end, it will be a lot of pain for nothing else than pain … so let’s hope for a good ending
