59 Smart I like the sweetness of the romance, and the good ending of the wounded friendship The bad friend come around, mend her relationship with her family and her only friend, finally opening her heart and talking things out This is unbelievably rare smart in this type of story I appreciate that the female characters, a lot of them are smart and able, they are very competent and determined

165 - probably a 3.5 on my personal scale, but i’ll certainly be waiting to see how such a writer matures another crazy evil family, more abuse - and of course way more harpies and evil women than kind and gentle ones 24 c to finally get out and start something , so now wait and see But still, big lies huge misunderstandings, i hope that won’t last too long ! ( but it is lasting -52 c, still bad) I don’t dislike this stern and peculiar art (it feels very french like) C72.5 - getting tired of meeting more and more devious people the romance is ever so slow, troubles seems to come faster - lastly the low self esteem is probably very legitimate, but it’s a pain to read C82 But it turns good from there By the end you have a very bad portrait of aristocracy in general, evil people get what they deserve (and worse ?) but luckily a few of these bad guys find a way to amend themselves, even if they really need to be shaken awake in most cases ( difficult exercise of playing with shadenfreude is mostly good) As for the MC, well hopefully too, as soon as the tiresome misunderstandings are cleared, she stops mopping and fights trouble heads on There are some lengthy parts, mostly due to the fact many characters have their own story arc (lots of downfalls stories around the sweet couple stuff of the MC. ) there’s again a very tight balance to maintain, as these highways to hell can become pretty disturbing Lastly the ML is just an absolutely perfect guy, and strangely but nicely, instead of having the king become a pathetic 2nd lead (leftover), he will become an interesting positive figure There are a lot of nice choices in this story, good values and energy is spent in the right place (using power to do good and share one’s privilege, instead of self poisoning by pursuing scary revenge It’s also nice to see healthy relationships, between lovers , friends and family, and lots of these appear in the second half of the story
