The beginning is great and the development of the relationship between MC and ML is slow (for ML) but cute. MC has the self esteem of a doormat, add this to both their poor communication skills and you have a lot of misunderstandings and angst. Once their relationship was resolved and they were all of the same page, the author needed something to continue the plot line and this is where it all goes to shit. MC goes back to her own country for some flimsy reason and then starts playing politics (very badly) there. I'm not an expert at political maneuvering by any means but I've read a few novels and dramas that have pretty good schemes which in my untrained opinion, is pretty cool. But her schemes consist of ordering the guards to arrest literally everyone in the room who ignored and didn't greet her because it was disrespecting a royal (her). I also don't know if the marriage system there is different, but generally for women, when they marry they are now considered part of their husbands family. So MC can't just go back to her home country and say that she is still the only princess and heir to the throne, despite having being married out and become a duchess of another country. So I would say it's worth reading up until she goes back to her home country. That part is a bit rubbish.
