Thinking that it was just an urban legend he head to the rooftop to find out that it was unlocked. What he found there changed his perspective about a classmate named Roku.

Shirase was a great swimmer and excelled in various sports too, has a good grade and gets along with other people. Something that Kubo lacks, that's why he admired Shirase and loved him. But one day, Shirase didn't show up to school without notice and disappeared for a while. When he showed himself to Kubo, he told him that he wants to go to the sea, and there, he broke down and told Kubo that he was going to transfer schools. That was the last straw for Kubo and ended up raping his friend. When he came to, Shirase has gone missing only to find out that his friend died drowning in the sea. Now he rescues people drowning as a lifeguard in that same beach, maybe to atone for his sin or ask for forgiveness? But nevertheless, he wants to see the last scenario Shirase saw before he died. Awww~ Such a heartbreaking story
