4 stars just fot the unresolved romantic tension, the rest of it is so lovely yet heartbreakingly bittersweet

Uke get spotted kissing his boyfriend in the library by seme. Uke is desperate to keep his relationship a secret and so tells seme he'll do anything to keep him from telling anyone. Seme decides he won't tell anyone if uke becomes friends with him. Over time seme falls in love with uke and gets cranky and possessive every time he sees uke and his bf interact. Seme confronts Uke in the library when he spots bf being flirty with a girl and tells Uke that the love he and his bf have is basically all in his head, because clearly the bf likes the girl more than Uke. Uke is afraid because Seme hit the nail on the head and eventually decides to break up with his bf. Uke then manages to catch a cold because he was sulking in the rain (never a good idea) and Seme decides to check on him and takes care of Uke. Seme's crush starts growing bigger and Uke starts to seriously crush on Seme as well. Eventually they end up confessing and going out, becoming a terribly cute couple in the process.

Uke comes across his first love (Seme) at his work. After losing his wife, Seme is now a single dad to his son who is in Uke's class. As Seme is not particularly good at taking care of himself (ie cooking, cleaning, dressing like a normal person), so in the spirit of rekindled friendship Uke helps him out by teaching him, as he wants his student to have a functional human being as his parent. Along the way old feelings float to the surface and new feelings emerge.

The wholesomeness continues. And it introduces more characters and, would you look at that, a bonus couple with their own spin-off. Gods, I could read about these two forever.

Two stories about best friends who like each other. In the first story two country-side boys (judging by the written accent) decide to watch a porn dvd together. Things escalate when they end up bringing each other to climax (ie handjobs). This habit continues till a classmate invites himself over as a third party, Seme gets jealous and he ends up confessing to Uke. Uke confesses in return and they live happily ever after. In the second story we again find two best friends, Nao of them has been in love with the other for a while Haruna hasn't quite figured out he likes his friend. Nao tries to do the shoujo manga best friend thing and setting Haruna up with the girl that likes him. It takes Nao bluffing a confession in her stead for Haruna to finally get with his feelings and realize that what he feels for Nao isn't plain old friendship.
