Aoi, the head-strong talented omega heir of the Toujou family, and Jirou, the insecure alpha heir to the Saionji family, meet as children and instantly feel drawn to each other, soulmates. Aoi feels as though he has found the reason why he was born an omega, to be with Jirou. Jirou on the other hand is frustrated, he feels like he can't let himself fall for destiny and rejects Aoi. As a result of this faithful encounter, the young alpha develops a hatred of omegas and destiny, things he is convinced do not fit within the pre-set course his life is supposed to take. After the death of his parents, Aoi is exiled from his family home and stripped of his status by his stepmother. Aoi and his butler Miyauchi (beta) make for the Saionji family estate to find a place to live and work. Jirou and his butler Kudou (alpha) are against Aoi working at the estate, but Jirou's dad gives the okay so the other two alphas are left to pout. Despite the rocky start, Aoi is determined to make it and under Kudou's tutelage grows to become a capable butler, whilst simultaneously making friends with most of the other staff. Just as the new normal begins to take shape Aoi gets his first heat and is manhandled into a room by Kudou who does his very best to keep his composure. Whilst Miyauchi deals with the alpha staff and tries to locate a suppressant, the locked door between Aoi and the rest of the house is not enough to keep Jirou away. Aoi lets Jirou in. The secondary story revolves around Kudou, the alpha head-butler of the Saionji family, and Miyauchi, Aoi's personal beta butler. Despite the bickering, the fighting and Miyauchi's biting tongue, Kudou falls in love with Miyauchi. Miyauchi, however, is convinced this 'love' will go nowhere. Miyauchi has a truly tragic backstory resulting in him having no faith in himself and a hatred towards all things destiny. Kudou, proud alpha that he is, is determined to make Miyauchi happy and marry the stubborn beta bastard.

High school student and student council president Chika has been convinced his entire life that he's an alpha, but upon meeting elementary school student Haruke, he abruptly goes into an unexpected heat. This causes Chika to doubt his identity as an alpha. When he meets Haruka again, he once more goes into heat confirming that he is indeed an omega and that this smal child is his fated alpha. As a consequence Chika overdoses and Haruka finally learns what alpha's, omega's and fated pairs are. Haruka feels sad and is determined to become a strong and capable adult to protect, love and take care of Chika the way he deserves to be. He writes his convictions down in a letter to Chika and moves to live with his grandparents in the countryside. 11 years go by, and Chika has built himself a career in the pharmaceutical industry, using his work to distract himself from his longing for his alpha. In those same 11 years Haruka has grown from a child into a young adult. He has graduated high school and wastes no time to travel to Chika's side the moment he is let go from his high school graduation ceremony. They reunite on Chika's front porch and start off the rest of their lives together with their first shared heat.
