Hmm I am really conflicted about the fact despite Haru being the MC it didn't feel like he was one but at the end I am glad Haru chose Renji.. At least he would be treasured forever (~￣³￣)~

Original Read. Really liked the historical setting and the characterization of the main characters. Must read for people who love tragic characters (◍•ᴗ•◍)

The only reason I read the whole thing was because of how sincerely Kayashima loved the Gardener-kun otherwise their relationship was very wobbly because they didn't communicate their feelings across each other. It was a bit annoying to watch as a bystander/reader but I guess they were still cute with each other so no problemo from me ¯_(ツ)_/¯
