king has loved a noble since they were children and spent 17 years making it possible to marry with the same gender. The uke however is very dense and doesn't realize and saying hurting words/rejecting the kings advances without knowing. Angering the king, he sent the demoted the uke over and over again. Until once day the king has found a trick to marry the uke and asks for him to come back. After almost solidifying the plan the kings most suitable empress shows up again claiming recovery from her mental illness (insanity) just to throw everything the king was planning for the uke out of the window.

omega prince has a childhood friend that is an alpha. The omega prince's mother is bent set on making him emperor and is drunk with power. While the king is trying to support the alpha to become emperor out of hate for the queen and an unrequited love with the alpha's father. The alpha was a war hero while the omega prince has been used like a pupet by his mother and slowly killing himself with suppressor medication. When they finally reunited the alpha found out the prince was actually an omega and not a beta and found out about his situation and now he wants to work together with the prince to help him become emperor and protect him from both the king and queen.
