TiredTM's manga / #lackluster ending(7)

My inner thoughts/rambling so SPOILERS! I loooveeee that the plot hinges on a misunderstanding trope and the FL actually is being doted on while being incredibly oblivious. The art is superb, the ML has a personality outside of "asshole with daddy issues" and Juve is super cute - but! but! dammmnn it's been 59 chapters and the plot has barely, barely began to kick in. It seems as though both father and daughter have memories of their previous life. The shitty emperor has some sort of hold over Daddy Floryn (Circe's eye??) that makes Floryn obedient to the crown. Apparently this object can kill Floryn who is only reluctant to die because he wants to live for his daughter. Meanwhile, we are currently in the point of the story where Max is trying to raise his stocks as CP so he can officially be with Juve, which is tragically hilarious because she's afraid of him for completely different reasons. Max's half-sister is just introduced as this abused character who has warmed up to Juve a bit (both cats, the siblings) and that will prob play a role in the future when the Empress comes out of the wood works. Ch 59: Right now, I am a little exasperated at the slow pace and incredibly self-indulgent motions of the plot. If this was merely a self-indulgent, romantic piece than I would have no qualms; however, the story is barely setting up a problem. Ch 73: Im soooo fucking glad she FINALLY FINDS OUT!!! And yay to the siblings being friendly (?) to each other this time around lmao. Ch 74: THIS IS NOT A DRILL. JUVEL FINDS OUT MAX IS CP, INITIALLY REJECTS HIM BUT THEN ACCEPTS HIM IN THE END SIR I JSDKJK:SAG!!! WE ABOUT TO SEE LEGIS' TRAUMA TOO SKFOSKGOJG!!! Ch 89: Juvellian was so fucking annoying in this chapter. Turned into a "kya" machine basically except she kept shouting "DAD!!" Like WOMAN RUN. If you can't do anything but cry and snivel then RUUUNNN. Now that I think about it, she has done nothing productive the whole ass time and honestly isn't that well-developed as a character.

6/10 Art is nice, plot premise interesting but fall short. The ending is rushed but not unsatisfying since the plot development itself was nothing spectacular. Main problem is the character development. All characters aside from Aseph are very 2D and have no growth.

Has much potential for world building and even a better plot but all characters fall flat. Disappointing and utter waste of Perot.
