Raphael is quite drawn to her charm and strong personality change after the poisoing accident. She keeps on leading Rezef that she would make him the next Emperor. {she's certainly calculative, perceptive and sharp, but I think its the way she reacts and interacts with her environment and the people around that makes her stand out. sure she could humiliate and punish this maid that's in this vulnerable position because of her circumstances...but she doesn't, she's not trying to gain her brothers trust to screw him over but to rather bring back the bond that they once had, and I think she's kind and generous in this way, to be forgiving and sincere despite everything thats been thrown or has been thrown at her. she could simply just let her brother rot, let him die in a cruel way as long as she's safe and sound there's no problem right? but she doesn't, she knows about the shit they both went through and she knows that this is what has happened to them and the fact the she strives to help him? He asked his father for a wish on his birthday to help He Yun's family. He was infatuated with that boy and so he always admired him in his heart. Though he never got to meet He Yun again, his father's started to go downhill and pummeled into nothing where his father and mother died. Cheng Ding's sister had gone mad and became mentally unstable from the deaths of her parents, she only wanted to save her brother at her last moment and get revenge on Rong Ding as they were the ones who ruined their family. Cheng Ding hated himself for making that wish for himself because he believed that he was the reason for their ruin. He wanted go get back at Rong Ding. But he never hated He Yun.
